ABSTRACT

_ I actually have Thunderbird setup with Lightning and using the SOGo connector. I also have several calendars that I was trying to sync with mobile devices.

SITUATION

_ So, syncing calendars using the Thunderbird SOGo connector isn't working because I believe it's just for SOGo if I'm correctly understanding their documentation. Skipping SOGo, I created a bucket on S3 and published the .ics files and used the webcals protocol. Even though that was sweet, here's the problem and this problem is the same during file import. Memotoo calendar does not distinguish the difference between different calendars, tasks / jobs, and task / jobs categories. In fact, Memotoo sees them all the same.

_ Second issue is during the botched imports, the details never appeared anyhow.

RESOLUTION

_ You must correctly map all of the fields:

title
location
category
calendar
start
due date
status
% complete
repeat
reminder
description
