And I can delete contacts. This is correct. What is not possible, though, is to change an existing contact. Here it doesn't matter whether this is a newly created contact on the phone or an old contact from meotoo. In all cases I do not get any "Edit" option.

I found out now, I can not add a new contact on my phone to the memotoo adressbook too. I don't even get the choice. But I can delete a contact on my phone that is in memotoo adressbook. Even though the phone tells me, it will not be deleted from the server it is in fact deleted in the memotoo adressbook afterwards! The preferences option "always add a new contact to memotoo adressbook" does not change anything. I don't have those problems with my calendar.

There is no default launcher set in my Contacts application. Contacts does not ask me to choose an if I open a Memotoo contact. There is simply no edit button.

I already tried this and I still don't get any edit option for a contact. I do get asked which contact app to use for new contacts, though. But this does not help. All contacts linked to Memotoo are not editable.

I am running Android 4.2.1, and have a related problem (though I'm not sure if it's the same). Whenever I added a contact on my phone, it would upload, but if I then edited on the server, the changes wouldn't send back to the phone. Alternatively, if I edited an existing contact on my phone, that edit wouldn't be received by the server. Not sure if that's much useful info to work with, but if you can find anything, that'd be fantastic.

I can add new contact via the android contact app. The contact app asking me if it shuld be an memotoo or google contact. I choose memotoo and everything works. Including the memotoo sync. But if i wnat to change the contact, a new number by example it is not posible. I press the edit buton and try to change the listet memotoo contact information i cant edit them. Is there any change of editing contacts on Android directly, at the moment i always search some wifi and editig contacts on the memotoo websitem but that is not very nice. i am using android 4.4.2 Greetings

For information, when you go to the settings in your phone, go to "Applications", select "Memotoo sync", have you "write contacts data" in Permissions ?

Although the app ist still not working, I found a solution for the sync problem - at least I thougt till I started writing this comment! I used the microsoft-excange server settings als explained here: https://www.memotoo.com/de/my-addressbook-and-contacts-how-to-sync.php#top It worked fine for me - till I found out some minutes ago, that all data was lost in my memotoo.com profile! How came that?! After I synced them back to the memotoo-server it is workin now again - but I am not so convinced about this method anymore....
