Hi,
the Windows 8 Calendar app sync fine, but my People apps doesn't.
It stays 3 minutes and give an error message (Error sync message).
Can you have a look if there are any problems?

Hello!

I am also having a similar issue. For some reason, neither Windows 8 Calendar nor People app sync with my Memotoo account. I am certain I have added the account correctly - as a matter of fact, I re-added it just moments ago. However, unlike the original poster, I do not receive any error whatsoever - neither contacts or calendar entries from Memotoo do not appear in People or Calendar apps.

Could you please assist me with this issue? Thanks.

Hello again.

I removed my Memotoo account from People app, but now I am not able to re-add it again: for some reason, People app says that it cannot find settings for Memotoo account. Strange, as it did not happen before.

There is no reason that you can not connect to exchange.memotoo.com

After restarting my computer I was able to add Memotoo account again. However, just like before, it does not sync neither way: my Memotoo data does not appear in neither Calendar or People apps. It's strange, though, since I can see "Syncing..." status in the upper left corner of those apps - it's just that nothing happens...

Hi Thomas, could you please have a look to my account also. I installed a fresh new windows 8 in virtual machine with updates (for test). I set only my Live account and memotoo, and no contacts from memotoo.
It stalls with "Sto sincronizzando..." in the top left corner but no Memotoo contacts added to my win8.

Thanks for your continued effort towards solving this problem.

I just checked my People app, and unfortunately, there's no change - I am having the same issue as before, and seem the same issue is experienced by other poster, Pascal over here. Strangely, some calendar entries have appeared in the Calendar app, which previously did not work! Contacts sync does not work, though still...

Ok may be I found what is wrong with Windows 8...

Can you try again to connect to exchange-test.memotoo.com ?
So delete the old sync and add new by replacing "exchange.memotoo.com" with "exchange-test.memotoo.com" and tell me if it is OK now ?

The e-mail can only be accessed with web interface (classic and mobile).

Can you try to delete again the sync with Windows 8 and add it again ?

For some reason the Windows 8 apps are automatically changing to exchange.memotoo.com from exchange-test.memotoo.com

And contacts still not syncing...
Even though I set it up for the test server it always resolves back to the main server.

exchange-test.memotoo.com is still automagically changing to exchange.memotoo.com so I can't check the test server. Maybe use ip address if it is unique?

I also get a brief message flashing up that exchange.memotoo.com is unavailable.

Tried to setup sync between my WP 7.8 and Memotoo via exchange.memotoo.com server today - no success. Setting the server to exchange-test does work for me. Only calendar sync tested though.

I'm a bit confused. When I read your message today, I tried to sync with the "exchange" server which was there from yesterday, and it synced!

Deleted account, added with "exchange-test" - no sync. Changed back to "exchange" - no sync either. Experimented several times with adding-deleting accounts for the two servers - no sync any more?!

Anton, configure only with "exchange.memotoo.com", do not add exchange-test.
Delete the account on your phone, and it with "exchange.memotoo.com".

Now calendar sync seems to work fine. Not sure though why "exchange" didn't sync a couple of times before... Thank you, Thomas!
