eM Client - Some bugs: Caused by eM Client or by MemotooRSS Feed

Today I installed eM Client, because I want to get rid of Outlook...

Seems nice, I like the interface of eM Client! But I discovered some bugs/anomalies when syncing via CardDav/CalDav:

- Contacts:
Some fields are messed up in eM Client: "Mobile Phone" becomes "Home" or "Home 2", the field "Mobile Phone stays empty for EVERY contact in eM Client.

- Tasks:
Calendar syncs fine, but all active tasks disappear in eM Client, I can see only the completed tasks.
If I create a new task with eM Client, it disappears during next sync (but IS visible in Memotoo and iPhone).
If I create the task with Memotoo/iPhone it simply isn't shown.

Can anyone have a look at this, please? Thomas?
Are there any other users of eM Client with same experiece??

If you need more data for investigating the problem, just let me know...

Hello MIcha

Ok I have corrected your 2 problems with eM Client
- "mobile phone" is now "Home mobile" in Memotoo
- all tasks are now synced (the problem came from eM Client that do not accept empty value in VEVENT)

The tasks are now working perfectly!

But I found some other field problems in contacts: Some "work" numbers are not syced correctly.

If I create a contact with number for..

... "work phone" in eM Client, it gets synced to "work" in Memotoo (and iPhone). CORRECT!
... "company phone" in eM Client, it gets synced to "work" in Memotoo (and iPhone) TO THE SAME FIELD???

... "work phone" AND "company phone" in eM Client, it gets synced "work phone"="work" and "company phone"="work mobile" in Memotoo. CORRECT.
... BUT if I create "work phone" AND "company phone" im Memotoo, it gets synced to "work"="company phone" and "work mobile"="company phone2" (because BOTH fields are called "work" in the vCard I can display in eM Client), but correct in iPhone ("work"="work" and "work mobile"="work mobile")

I think the fix for all those problems should be this:

Could you set the field (Memotoo-)"work" to (vCard-)"TEL;TYPE=WORK,VOICE" so it gets synced to (eM Client-)"work phone" correctly (and vice versa)?

Until now it is called (vCard-)"TEL;TYPE=WORK" only. It seems that eM Client needs always suffix in vCard (e.g. "work, voice") to sort out the fields correctly.

Perhaps you could contact the developpers of eM Client to adjust all contact field names? Isn't there ONE vCard-standard all clients should use?

I will post a link there to this thread in the eM Client-forums.

Everything works fine! Now I can finally get rid of Outlook!!!

Seriously: eM Client is THE pim-client I was looking for the last years...
It's perfect in combination with Memotoo!!!
