I have a contact which is not listed in either ALL contacts or when selected the first character of the family name (memotoo web interface)
But I can use Search to find this contact.

How can I make this contact visible?

Hello Wolfgang

I think it is because only the 300 first contacts are shown.
So click on "Show: All" at the top right or bottom right when you show your address book with card.
