Hello,

i made a event on my mobile:

BEGIN:VEVENT
UID:content://com.android.calendar/events/28**
DTEND:20111108T170000Z
DTSTART:20111108T160000Z
LOCATION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE;CHARSET=UTF-8:Location
COMPLETED:20111108T170000Z
SUMMARY;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE;CHARSET=UTF-8:Test-Event
STATUS:TENTATIVE
END:VEVENT

This event than is autmaticly synced too my standard-google-calendar and results in the following:

BEGIN:VEVENT
DTSTART:20111108T160000Z
DTEND:20111108T170000Z
DTSTAMP:20111109T080709Z
UID:@google.com
ATTENDEE;CUTYPE=INDIVIDUAL;ROLE=REQ-PARTICIPANT;PARTSTAT=ACCEPTED;CN=;X-NUM-GUESTS=0:
CREATED:20111109T080250Z
DESCRIPTION:
LAST-MODIFIED:20111109T080250Z
LOCATION:Location
SEQUENCE:1
STATUS:TENTATIVE
SUMMARY:Test-Event
TRANSP:OPAQUE
CATEGORIES: http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#event
END:VEVENT

Unfortunately this sync genereates some lines that are not needed and makes the event some kind of a meeting with myself.
Nevermind.. This is a problem with Google..

Now "yours":
If I sync this event to Memotoo (as a URL-Calendar) the sync generates two events

BEGIN:VEVENT
UID:memotooEvent14223***
SUMMARY:Test-Event
LOCATION;CHARSET=UTF-8:Location
DTSTART:20111108T160000Z
DTEND:20111108T170000Z
CATEGORIES:Google
CLASS:PRIVATE
ATTENDEE:""
DTSTAMP:20111109T080857Z
LAST-MODIFIED:20111109T080857Z
END:VEVENT

^^ This one as intendet.
It has a categorie called Google.. Like all the other events that i synced though this iCal-URL-calendar.

BEGIN:VEVENT
UID:memotooEvent14224***
SUMMARY:Test-Event
LOCATION;CHARSET=UTF-8:Location
DTSTART:20111108T160000Z
DTEND:20111108T170000Z
CLASS:PRIVATE
DTSTAMP:20111109T081141Z
LAST-MODIFIED:20111109T081427Z
END:VEVENT

This one doessnt have a category and not the Attendee anymore.

While i was switching to google I got due to syncing with memotoo alle of my events about 10 times in my Calendar.
I Think the decribed Bug is one of the reasons for this.

//Edit:
Now all of my Events are duplicated without any action of me.
Just writing this Bug-Report.

If I delete one duplicated event (that one without the Category:Google):
1st it deletes this Event in my Google calendar.
some time later also the event on my mobile is deleted.

By the Way: Without syncin manualy!
An interval for syncing issnt set (I think this means sync iss OFF)

BUT:
If I make a new Event in Memotoo calender and set the category to Google.
Even after a sync the new Event issnt transfered to my Google calendar.

Hi Markus

It is strange ...
I can not help you because now you have removed the sync with Google ...
I think you synced 2 time the same Google category ?

Hello,

to explain again:
I have one Google-Sync integrated in Memotoo..
I also had a 2nd google-calendar via a iCal-Calendar (URL-Calendar).. The 2nd one is still there..
I was searching for a way to sync my calendar to memotoo without messing it up with every sync.

Whyle syncing my phone(directly to google), google(to phone and memotoo) and memotoo(to google) I got smoe of my Events 10 times in my calendar. I think one of the problems here was that Memotoo generates a new unique ID for each synced event and not using the unique Google-ID.

The memotoo-google-sync was deleted to be sure it is not syncing without my action.
I think this was the problem:
The Memotoo-Sync to my was automated even while the Field with the sync-period was empty.
Possible?

MfG

Hello Markus

Yes the Google-Sync is automatic when you add/modify/delete an event, Memotoo start in background the sync with Google.
