Since 2/11/2011 I'm having problems to sync events with long descriptions (e:g: outlook invitations) both from memotoo to Outlook, and from memotoo to Tasks+Cal on the iPhone. On the iPhone, these events lose their start date and time. On Outlook I suppose that this is the reason why the Funambol windows client crashes.

Could you help ?

I would like to add that possibly the issue is not linked to the lenght of the value in the description field in itself, but to unreadable characters that could be there coming from outlook invitations or copy and paste operations.

Strange ... I have changed yesterday the sync server so may it is the problem.

Can you set the log level to "debug" in Outlook, sync again and send me the log ?

I also have received email about this issue and yesterday My funambol sync crashed.

Yeserday afternoon all my events and tasks were duplicated when I synced my iPhone (tasks+cal sync).
=> SOLVED

i am using osx 10.7.2 here its the same problem ... long notiz are cut sometimes and strange charkters are inside - like "spaces" and a lot of "n"
using ical from mac os . and caldav protokol

maybe there is a fast solution ....

I have corrected the "n" problem (it was a end line cut) and the space problem.
Try again and tell me if you have problem.
