I have several entries in my calendar which have alarm set directly at start of the date (i.d. having alarm set to "0 minutes" before the date). The dates are synchronized but the alarm gets lost in memotoo calendar-. Any idea? (I am using Outlook 2007 with Nexthaus SyncJe 4.0.0.0).
Debug Log File looks okcopied just one example)

Hi Thomas,

I just synced again - in general all my "Birthday" entries have a "0 minute" alarm set at 8 o'clock (calendar entries in German are called "Geb. ", eg. 7 or 9 or 12th June).
Please let me know if you need more details.

When I see "Geb. ", eg. 7 or 9 or 12th June, I see no alarm for theses events ... Can you reproduce the problem of "0 minutes" alarm and tell me the name of the event ?

Hi Thomas,

this is exactly the problem - in Outlook the alarm is(!) set to directly 8o'clock (so 0 minute advanced) - and this alarm is NOT synced to memotoo unfortunately....
I have added just one single "Test" Event tomorrow 25th at 9o'clock, alarm set directly to 9o'clock (0 minutes) - it is also not synced.

Thx!

Ok I understand now.

Here the data sent by Nexthaus Outlook, and there is no alarm so Memotoo can do nothing:

It is strange because "FMC ITV service" has an alarm sent by Nexthaus Outlook...

Hi Thomas, yes "FMC IT Service" is working because the alarm is set "15 minutes" before the event. Generally all alarms are synced and set as long as they are not set to "0 minutes" So I have to talk to Nexthaus on this? But in that case I would assume no alarms are working. So I am confused now?!?!

Hi Thomas, please find answer from Nexthaus below - could you look into the memotoo site again? Thanks a lot.

Hello Achim,

Thank you for contacting SyncJe Technical Support!

The ticket # 2543367 that was submitted for Achim, regarding your difficulty in synchronizing a caledar event when the alarm is set for that specific time, has returned from our investigation.

Please note we have tested this issue with the data you have provided. It has been determined that: From client to the server, event with an alarm which is set to 0 minutes before event starts was synced to server without alarm at all. Further testing on the Memotoo servers revealed that: There is no possibility to set the alarm directly at the event start time on the server, when trying to save event with 0 minutes before event starts, it automatically changes alarm time to 1 day before event after clicking save button.

It's seems that it is a memotoo.com server restriction, which does not allow you to set the alarm to 0 minutes before event starts. Unfortunately we don't have access to the 'memotoo' servers as they are not managed by us.

We have now closed the ticket with regards to this issue. If you do require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be glad continue working with you.

We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for additional assistance, and invite you to contact us if you have any additional concerns.

Regards,

Sylvie A

I have just tested and I confirm: the DALARM value is not sent by Nexthaus when alarm "0 minute" is set in Outlook...
