multiple phone number issues with Funambol Thunderbird sync

Hi all,

this posting is to inform you of the following shortcoming.

I've tried to sync my contacts from a Nokia 6233 to Memotoo. After eliminating multiple uses of a number type (e.g. general, private, work, fax) within a single contact this works just fine. I've synced these contacts with the Funambol Mozilla Sync Client V1.0b3 to a new Thunderbird V3.1.9 addressbook. If the number types general and private are used both within a single contact, the number with number type general is getting lost (Memotoo online addressbook still ok). There is no separate field in the Thunderbird addressbook available for a general phone number. Hence it cannot be saved in Thunderbird. It's moved to personal number only when personal number is empty.
