Hi
I just took the recommended update to funambol client V9 and since doing so have just noticed ALL of my calendar entries have been duplicated in outlook.
Ahead of this upgrade I had also noticed that for some reason with birthdays and public holidays I was also getting many duplicates created.
Also "refresh from client" was not replacing the online version of the calendar.

i.e. I have TWO problems:
1. since funambol update I have duplicate of everything
2. pre update I have duplicate of MANY birthdays and public holiday events (infact more than duplicate with many events now copied 4 or 5 times)

Note: V9 of the funambol client does not support one way sync.

Any help?
Should I downgrade the funambol client?

Hi Ande,
I had the same problem and I definitely donwgraded to 8-7-2 again!
(it took hours to carefully delete all duplicated items...)

Does anybody know why the "one-way" sync was removed from Funambol and if that will come back?

Yes with the plugin Funambol Outlook 9.0.1, the events seems to be duplicated in Outlook...
If there is this problem, remplace the Outlook events with the ones from Memotoo:
1. Go to: Tools / Recover ...
2. Select "Replace all local data with data from server"
3. Select "Calendar" and click on "Recover"

Downgrade the plugin to the 8.7.2 version, if you want use the "one way sync".

I think you should add something to the FAQ or "sync with outlook" info: i.e. do not use funambol plugin 9.x otherwise memotoo will duplicate your complete calendar.
The workaround does not work as memotoo also has now duplicated events.

Ok I have found the problem with version 9.0.1. and I have corrected it
(In fact "Last" is set to "0" and not with a date for the first synchronization)

it is not possible to downgrade to version 8, it keeps saying there's a new version and force the update! that version 9 is so crap, can't believe it.

Is there something else to use instead of Funambol to update from Outlook to Memotto?

tierix33, normally this problem is corrected. You can use the Funambol Outlook client V9.

thanks. sorry I was not clear, my issue with Version 9 is that it is a "two way" only synchronization, I really need a 1 way because of the way Outlook writes phone numbers (with brackets which does not suit me at all).
As far as I know, this is still the case.

and as far as I know, I can't use version 8.7 because it forces me to install the latest version.

Where the hell do we login from on this forum??? It's not clear...

If you want, you can force the way of sync in the Memotoo interface:
https://www.memotoo.com/my-account-sync-history.php
Select the Funambol Outlook plugin, "Contacts" and choose the way of sync.

thank you very much for your reply.

Are you SURE, that the options in Memotto OVERRIDE the options in Funambol please?
Cause if you look on the 17th of January in my history, it did synchronize also from Outlook to Memotto and that's what I really don't want or I will have to edit all of my 130 contacts
