syncevolution / memotoo problem with recursive meetings and daylight savings

I have just started using memotoo (previously used scheduleworld) and noticed that recursive meetings are being incorrectly synced - they end up 1hr too early (start and end time).
It seems to be daylight savings problem.
I THINK it could be explained by WHEN the event was created:
I did not have this problem with scheduleworld and have not installed a different version of syncevolution.
My setup is:
2 personal PCs: - linuxmint+evolution+syncevolution
1 work PC: - windowsXP+outlook2003+funambol
In each case syncevolution and funambol are latest versions.

I am pretty sure the problem is with memotoo and I think it is related to not saving the timezone with the event - or at least not passing it onto the clients. e.g. when I do a download in iCal format there is no timezone entry. Same as the data that arrives at syncevolution - i.e. no TZID is sent - and yet I see in the outlook appointment the timezone information is there.

So, when will we get a fix?

"Old" recurring events (set when DST was in force) have the same problem. I think this is very important to fix. Please? PD I think that all this story about timezones in the calendar is bogus. I would simply suppress it. My calendar is in the timezone that I happen to be, so if I set something form 9am to 11am, it's just that, from 9am to 11am, why mess? I understand this is not a memotoo problem, is in the spec, but...
