Bonjour...

I am synchronizing calendar events with my BlackBerry 8320 and nothing else.

I am trying to create an event in MemoToo's calendar interface that recurs every Monday and Wednesday, from Aug. 30, 2010 to Dec. 10, 2010. There are two exceptions: Sept. 6, 2010 and Nov. 24, 2010.

I create the event on 8/30/2010 (I have the calendar setting to display dates as 12-31-2010 11:00 PM) and use "Until" value of 12-10-2010 and add exceptions 09-06-2010 and 11-24-2010.

The event still shows up on Sept. 6, and ends on Oct. 11. When I review the properties of the event, the dates on the "Recurrence" tab have all changed:
"Until" value is now 10-12-2010.
Exceptions are now 06-09-2010 and 12-11-2011.

If I change the second exception to 24-11-2010, the Sept. 6 holiday now has no event, which is what I wanted. But Nov. 24 still has the event. Opening the properties of the event again, the exceptions now say 09-06-2010 and 11-24-2010, which is what I entered in the first place. If I click on "Save," the event reappears on Sept. 6. I don't know what happens on Nov. 24 because the "Until" value keeps switching back and forth, too.

I tried pretending to be European, accepting the calendar format as "dd-mm-yyyy," and I even exported the calendar to an ICS file (which uses YYYYMMDD format so no confusion), edited it to do what I want, and imported it back into MemoToo. I can't remember what the results were, exactly, because it all gets muddled up every time I open the properties box.

There is clearly somewhere in the chain where the US format and the European format get switched around, which is why I thought that just using the European format would work, but it didn't.

I'm really surprised that I didn't find this bug already reported by someone else, but maybe it's a new thing. I've only been a subscriber for a few days.

Along the same lines, the UNTIL value in recurring events has the date/month reversed. When I tell the interface to repeat until November 30, 2010, the event repeats until June 11, 2012. That is the 11th day of the 30th month of 2010. If I open the event again, it says "Until June 11,2012" and if I click on save, it now continues until November 6, 2012.
