Problem reloading contacts towards memotoo from HTC Desire via Synthesis AGRSS Feed

After the inexplicable deletion of several contacts on Memotoo (and Tbird Lightning, as a result), I want to reload all my Android contacts, which remained complete, towards Memotoo. I tried using the Synthesis command to reload the server, and using the Memotoo command to force a complete sync memotoo towards android. In both cases, the Synthesis client tells me the sync was successfully completed and local data was unmodified. But the sync completes in a couple of seconds (there are about 1500 contacts) and says it was successful... but nothing was transferred! This has been the case since yesterday. Before, things seemed to work. Yet nothing as far as I know has been changed in my config.
