I've set up Outlook LDAP lookup on memotoo, specifying ou=mygroup in the setup. Unfortunately Outlook now shows the Display name suffixed as 'John Smith (mygroup)' - curious to know if there's any way of fixing this in Outlook. I suppose I will stick to SyncML instead.

I'm having the same issue with Thunderbird when using LDAP - I have constrained the LDAP search to use 'ou=thunderbird' via the base DN setting, and when addressing an email, the contact appears as 'John Smith (thunderbird) < jsmith@example.com>'.

Fortunately SyncML with Thunderbird works fine, but this makes the LDAP feature of Memotoo mostly unusable as the group structure really shouldn't form part of the display name. Maybe this is an LDAP convention as Outlook does it too.
