When I create a new calendar entry on my phone and sync it with Memotoo, everything looks fine in Memotoo. But when I edit the entry in Memotoo (e.g. add a description, without modifying any time values) and then sync it back to the phone, it suddenly appears one hour earlier than before.

Strange enough, but it gets even better: when I open the messed up entry on the phone and just save it without changing anything, the times are correct again.

In short: a sync from memotoo to the phone makes synced appointments appear one hour earlier until they are saved on the phone for the next time.

So it seems like this could also be a bug in my phone. Its internal time representation seems to be always correct, but received time values are displayed faulty until saved.

Maybe this could be solved by submitting time values from Memotoo to the phone in a representation which doesn't need to be "normalized", as that normalization seems to be performed by the phone only when saving entries manually.

Can you add a event "test" on your phone and sync again with Memotoo ?
I want to see the syntax sent by the phone.

Tell me the time of the event on your phone and on Memotoo ?

Thank you for being willing to help. I've just created an event "test" on my phone, on July 1st, 08:00 a.m. It appears in Memotoo correctly. But then I added a location "test location" in Memotoo and synced again with the phone. Now the location gets added to the entry on the phone, but but the time in the phone's calendar application is 7:00 a.m. When I open the entry and just save it, the time switches back to 8:00 a.m. automatically.

As I think that this might be a bug in the phone, I contacted Samsung. The replied that they're working on it, so it sounds like they agree that it's a bug.

Ok Try again it will be OK now

In fact you phone wrong convert the date with the timezone:
DTSTART:20100701T060000Z

So now Memotoo send to your Samsung GT-S8500 without timezone:
DTSTART:20100701T080000

Hello, and thank you very much. Now it works as expected - I just wonder what will happen when Samsung has fixed the bug in the phone one day. It might then be necessary to revert to the old sync behaviour... but for now, I'm very happy. Many thanks.
