I have a Palm Treo 700wx windows mobile 6 phone. For the last year or so, my paid memotoo / funabol has been perfectly for contacts, notes, tasks, calendar etc. Suddenly about a month or so ago, the contacts synchinc stopped working. I get either a "waiting for server data" or "checking contacts" message and it gest stuck there forever. As a result, since that's the first item of synching, nothing else gets synched either. I have to uncheck contacts in the options, then the tasks, calendar and notes all sync perfectly fine. I had just downloaded and installed the latest 8.04 client installed. As a matter of fact, just today I had uninstalled and reinstalled the latest client. Nothing. Contacts STILL will not sync. I get the same message "waiting for server data" or "checking contacts".

I got no response from the "contact us" email page for over a month now. I am hoping to resolve this soon b/c its very annoying.

Sorry Paul for the delay of my response...

Can you try again to sync ? (I want to see the data sent by the funambol plugin)
May be this problem come from the plugin that it does not arrive to open the contacts database on your phone...

I have found nothing ...Memotoo respond but your phone do not receive the response.
Can you just try to sync the contacts ? (uncheck: calendar, task, and notes)

Unfortunately, same thing. Contacts still won't sync even if I uncheck all others. Very strange that if there is nothing wrong on your end, that a reinstall on my phone wouldn't fix it and that it would only be the contacts, nothing else....

Hello Thomas! I haven't heard anything back from you. Please lets fix this. It used to work fine and its only contacts, so obviously my phone is making connection. I would reason that the issue is on your server.... THanks.

UPDATE: Even though during the update on the Funambol client the old software was uninstalled "supposedly", after manufally uninstalling old software first, then installing new Funambol software, phone is now syncing fine!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess you need to tell people to manually uninstall first....
