I am testing access to my gmail account. When I click on the message subject of message N that the message content for message N-1 is retrieved and displayed. When clicking on message 0 then a null message is shown (i.e. sender, subject, message, ... are all blank).
This is consistent across both the first and later pages.
This may or may not be the same for other account types --- I have not had an opportunity to test that.
