Over the last two weeks, my contacts stopped syncing. I have tried resetting on both BlackBerry and deleting data on Memotoo.com.

I have also changed the "Remote Name" on both Outlook and on BlackBerry to the currently recommended "con"

Please Help.

I really need help here! No response on this forum and no response from the Help / Contact Us form.

My BlackBerry now has NO CONTACTS.

I've tried changing settings to SCARD on Outlook and BlackBerry and still nothing.

Is it true that MemoToo is just 1 person?

Hello Bob

In fact, there is a network problem with some Blackberry when they initiliaze the connection. (for information it's a TCP problem and I think it come from the MTU and the MSS when the blackberry send the first trame)

So I try to find a solution to solve this problem. May be I have found the solution, can you try again to sync ?

Yes Memotoo is for the moment just one person

Okay, I tried syncing again, I tried to "RESET" contacts and I tried a battery-pull on BB with a follow-up sync and still nothing.

No contacts.

Calendar, Tasks & Memos sync, but ONLY if I run them seperately from SYNC-ALL.

OK Bob, I think you must force Memotoo to send again all yours contacts to the Blackberry.
1. So go to the history of synchronization: https://www.memotoo.com/my-account-sync-history.php
2. Select your BlackBerry into the list
3. Click on the tab "Contacts", and click on "both ways" to force a complete sync.
4. Sync your BlackBerry

I will log the synchronization, and if there is an error, I will check this. So now ?

I tried forcing a sync as requested, then synced multiple times and even tried a reset in the BB.

Still no contacts!

It worked for a couple of hours. (At least after 10+ days of this not working, I finally have contacts for email and phone)

BUT, now it is broken AGAIN!

Trying to sync on CONTACTS just brings up the "Connecting..." message, then an error.

The sync with contacts appears to generally be working.

But, I lose the categories between memotoo.com and the BB. (They transfer from Outlook to Memotoo, but not onto the BB.)

This is a problem in BOTH Contacts and TASKS.

Try to install the last version of the Funambol BlackBerry plugin:

I have just tested I have no problem. The groups of the contacts are synced.

Okay, thanks, that worked. I now have categories on both Contacts and tasks.

I upgraded from v7 to v8 of the Funambol client on both Outlook and Blackberry.

FYI, the link provided was for BB's running OS v4.7+
