Hi everyone,

I am a user of KeePass, a password vault freeware tool. It stores its data in .kdbx files. I'd like to store the .kdbx files at memotoo and would like to use FileZilla for up-/download. It works with standard files like .doc or .jpg (upload and download).

Uploading .kdbx files to memotoo via browser works.

But it does somehow not work with FileZilla and my .kdbx file (200 kBytes). Upload to memotoo with FileZilla works, upload is completed and everything is ok. But one second later, memotoo deletes the file immediately. I can not view it anymore via browser or FileZilla. Any try of uploading this file to memotoo works well (FileZilla receives no error, transaction completed without errors), but it is deleted from the memotoo server by memotoo (just guessing).
Upload and download of any other file like .doc. or .jpg from the same PC directory to the same memotoo directory works fine without problems.

Anyone having an idea why this doesn't work?

Thanks for help!

Hi Olle

I don't understand your problem because your file .kdbx is in your docs in the folder "Persoenlich" ?
I can't arrive to reproduce your problem upload /delete automatically file .kdbx ....

Sorry if I did not make a clear statement.

What works is:
__ manual upload of .kbdx file via html web interface (that's how I managed to place the file is there
__ manual upload of .doc or .jpg files via ftp tool FileZilla

What does NOT work is:
__ manual upload of .kdbx file with FileZilla (just tried again, still doesn't work):

FileZilla does the upload and says:
Status: Starting upload of xxx.kdbx
Command: CWD /Persoenlich
Response: 250 OK. Current directory is /Persoenlich
Status: Retrieving directory listing...
Command: TYPE I
Response: 200 TYPE is now 8-bit binary
Command: PASV
Response: 227 Entering Passive Mode (88,191,99,247,153,137)
Command: MLSD
Response: 150 Accepted data connection
Response: 226-ASCII
Response: 226-Options: -l
Response: 226 2 matches total
Status: File transfer successful

After this, the .kdbx file vanishes immediately from memotoo. Neither FileZilla or the Webbrowser show the file. It's not there. (Maybe deleted??)
Repeating the upload with FileZilla does not change a thing - The file is not there.

If I upload (using FileZilla) a .jpg file AND the .kdbx file at the same time, only the .kdbx file vanishes. The .jpg file stays on memotoo and can be viewed/downloaded/whatever. So it does only NOT work with .kdbx files.

So the question is: What happens on memotoo.com to my .kdbx file after I uploaded it with FileZilla?

I hope this was a bit clearer
