Hi,

I registered here today, to have the ability to have the same contacts on my cellphone and on my Mozilla Thunderbird. I encountered the problem, that Thunderbird is unable to download and display my contacts stored here at Memotoo. I did all settings like decribed here, so I dont understand where the problem is.

Could you please help?

Hello Zoli

Mozilla Thunderbird seem to not download the LDAP contacts, but you can access to your contacts in Memotoo with Ldap by starting to write an email address when you write an email.

If you want to download your address book in Memotoo, use the funambol plugin to sync your contacts:

Sorry, but I am little bit confused now. You wrote on your homepage, that Memotoo can be used as an LDAP-server. Now, your reply tells me exactly the opposite?

By the way, in the meantime I encountered another bug, which I also want to report. When syncing with my Nokia N95, Memotoo doesnt sync "detail-typed" "Phone Number" entries for each contact. It only syncs the other ones, called i.e. "Phone Number (Private)" or "Phone Number (Mobile)" or " Phone Number (Work)" so. Due to that issue, all contacts were deleted in that particular field on my phone while my first re-syncing. It also drops duplicates of the same "detail type" of the contact, not caring of that the containing values (phone numbers) are different.

Please help!

Sorry to confuse you ... Yes Memotoo can be used as LDAP server. You can use it with Mozilla Thunderbird but the function "Download Now" do nothing.
