A lot of the time zones on calendars I'm subscribed to are wrong. I pull up the source ics and the times are supposedly UTC but they're obviously not. For example one ics references the USA eastern time zone as offset 0. Being able to add any number of hours to an individual calendar would be extremely useful.

Having a similar issue with remote calendars and my Eseries Nokia...

I'm subscribed to two remote calendars -- from TripIt and Zipcar.com. Over the course of a few syncs the times for events in these calendars have completely changed.

Could it be the time zone set on my handset? It's currently set to "local time" -- which, for me, is ET (GMT -5).

Yup, changing the timezone on my handset to GMT -5:00 seems to have solved the issue.
