Before one of the last updates, it was possible to send an email to a contact's group (there was a drop down menu aside the group name).

Now this seems to be not possible anymore. Is it true? So strange, because it was useful...

Is it anyway possible to send an email to selected contacts (checked in contacts view)?

You can send email to a group of contact. Just click on the mail icon:


Also you can always ask to update theirs informations here:
https://www.memotoo.com/my-addressbook-and-contacts.php?rub=update

Sorry if it is not possible to send email by checkbox ...

I missed the drop-down menu because it was "hidden" because of the sidebar...
