Hi!
I wonder if there is a way to force character encoding for calDAV. I added my Memotoo calendar and task list to Evolution using the calDAV option, and all the umlauts get wrongly encoded.

Can I modify the calendar URL to tell the client the correct encoding?

Hi Sam

Strange that Evolution do no like the UTF-8 default encoding ...
I think you must use SyncEvolution to sync your data between Memotoo and Evolution.

Right. I will check out SyncEvolution, trying to get a stable version of the current one.
Good to know that the default is UTF-8.
I will see if the problem lies on Opensuse 12.1 since the same thing happens with Kontact/Akonadi on that computer.
